During an exhaustive 2-month search for the perfect home, Kathryn was nothing but professional and attentive to our needs. She navigated obstacles like a super-tight housing market, a strict budget, four energetic kids, and of course, a pandemic with confidence, kindness and a lighthearted sense of humor. We consider ourselves blessed to have found Kathryn to represent us for the sale of our townhouse. We weren't sure at first if we wanted to rent or sell, and she spent a good deal of time with us at first discussing both options, including specific numbers for each scenario to help us make an informed decision. From day one, it was clear that she had our best interests in mind--unlike some of the other agents we've met, who are simply looking for a quick and lucrative sale. Simply put, Kathryn earned our trust off the bat, and that made the entire process much less stressful. Once we decided to sell, she offered expert advice on how to prepare the home to increase its value. She said she would do some "simple staging" with a few "things she had on hand." So add modesty to Kathryn's list of qualities; the house was transformed into a place I wished I had been living in sooner! We had to move up our timeline significantly after finding our current house in Florida, and Kathryn had no problem keeping up. She took photos herself, and they were clearly professional quality. After the listing went live, she coordinated viewings and an open house. A day later, she came over with an extremely well-organized spreadsheet summarizing the ten offers we had received in two days (!) and walked us through each one, explaining the relative strengths and weaknesses. She also made many specific suggestions on how to respond to the buyer agents to elicit an even better offer. We ended up selling at $20K over our listing price with optimal conditions in the contract. Kathryn's attention to detail, knowledge, and friendly, positive attitude make her an excellent choice for an agent. The only room for improvement would be for her to get a license in Florida, so that she could represent us if we ever need to sell again!
